Still turning this:
into this:
So much fun. Two-thirds done now. I’m also eating Girl Scout cookies, and falling in love with Bradley Cooper (for bringing his mom to the Oscars) and Daniel Day-Lewis (who needs reasons?) and listening for birdsongs that mean spring is headed my way, and buying tickets to go see Michael Nesmith, and reading Mr. Bridge, and making Spaghetti Bolognese. If you only have time for one of those things, I really must recommend you go with the pasta. Seriously. You will love it.
I'm going to turn into a Girl Scout cookie if I don't stop soon. At the moment I have two boxes of Thin Mints, one box of Trefoils and one box of Samoas in my house. Oy. I love the scarf (?), it looks great so far.
ReplyDeleteYour scarf is certainly going to be a work of art! I'm with you on Daniel D.L. - ooooooooh x Jane

ReplyDeleteHow long is that colorlicious loveliness?
love your busyness!
ReplyDeleteWell that is one HUGE pile of yarn to turn into a scarf ... you'll be able to wrap it around you from head to toe! It looks so soft and so pretty! I felt a whiff of spring here today, not that the birds sang their spring songs, and despite what the weatherman says I'm hoping our 'storm watch' doesn't produce anything I have to shovel. Enjoy your cozy knitting :) Wendy
ReplyDeleteWow....can't wait to see it done. Yes, I agree, I love that BC brought his Mama.

well you're quite busy! Is it a scarf? Love the way you arrange your colours. They seem random, but random in a nice way and not random with very light and dark patches!
ReplyDeleteKirsten
Colorful!! I love stripes :)
ReplyDeleteI too made a massive spag bol over the weekend - half in bellies, half in freezer!
ReplyDeleteI have to say, though, that my Italian friends (Milanese folks) would throw up their hands in horror at the bolognese recipe - it may be a regional thing but I've never met an Italian who approves of using onion or garlic in the same dish. It's one or the other, and only onion in a bolognese. Or so I am informed.
I've stopped using both and I have to say I prefer the onion only version.
They won't use onion and garlic at the same time? Wow, to me, they are like peanut butter and jelly.
DeleteI love all the colours!!! :-)
